Michael K. Jackson
Reverend Michael K. Jackson was born January 25, 1980, in Lexington, KY to Michael I. Jackson & Kim F. Stewart, and he is the father of two children – Alexia Carmen, and Jeremiah Kymel. He is the proud grandfather of Paris.
He confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the tender age of six and baptized at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the tutelage of Rev. Dr. Felix G. Williams III.
After a rebellious struggle, Reverend Jackson was unable to shake God’s call on his life Following which, he preached his initial sermon on April 28, 2004, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Dr. Felix G. Williams III. and later ordained on April 12, 2008. Since that time, GOD has used Reverend. Jackson to preach, teach, evangelize, and proclaim Jesus Christ wherever the opportunity presents itself.
Reverend Jackson is a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, he attended Kentucky State University. His studies have also come by way of Simmons College of Kentucky and Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. He has an Associate’s Degree of Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary (Magna Cum laude). Thereafter, Rev. Jackson graduated (Summa Cum Laude) with a bachelor’s degree in ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
Over the years, Reverend Jackson has served in various capacities as a preacher of the Gospel. He served as Assistant to Rev. Dr. Felix G. Williams III at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and the associate minister at First Baptist Richmond under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert R. Blythe. He also served faithfully as pastor of the Copper Run Missionary Baptist Church, Shepherdsville, KY. He is former Pastor of Uttingertown Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington, KY when he served for 8 plus years. Pastor Jackson led Uttingertown in many building enhancement projects free and clear of any debt. In the middle of a global pandemic.
God allowed Pastor Jackson and the members of Uttingertown to purchase property and pay in full a 30-year mortgage in less than 3 years’ time.
On November 17, 2024, the call was extended to Pastor Jackson to become the eleventh Pastor of Ninth Street Missionary Baptist Church on the eastside of Covington.
